You might use the Bitrix24 platform to manage your business and end up having multiple contacts of clients, stakeholders, or employees saved there.
If your goal is to automatically send new contacts added in Bitrix24 to Google Contacts, follow the details below.
How to Connect Bitrix24
The first step to ensuring the automation works correctly is to have Bitrix24 properly connected and configured in Albato. To do this, we recommend reading the following article: Connecting Bitrix24 with Albato.
Setting Up the Google Contacts Connection
Just like you did with Bitrix24, before creating your automation, you also need to set up a similar connection with Google Contacts.
To do this, go to the Apps tab on your platform and click Add a Connection:
Then, search for Google Contacts, click on the platform icon, and click Add Connection again:
Next, you will need to add a Name for Your Connection and click Continue.
This name is internal and will only be visible in Albato, helping you organize and easily select this connection when creating your automation.
A screen will appear to grant access to Google Contacts.
Click Grant Albato Access to be redirected to the Google login page.
Select the Google Contacts account you wish to connect:
Click Allow to let Albato link to your Google Contacts account.
If everything goes smoothly, you will see a success screen:
Now that both your Google Contacts and Bitrix24 connections are set up, the next step is to create your automation to send new contacts from Bitrix24 to Google Contacts.
How to Create an Automation to Send New Contacts from Bitrix24 to Google Contacts
Once logged into Albato, go to the Automations tab and click Create New Automation:
Adding a Trigger
To start your automation, you first need a Trigger—an action that occurs in a specific app and initiates your workflow.
Select Bitrix24, then choose the trigger Contact Created/Changed or New Lead, depending on whether you want to send leads or contacts to Google Contacts.
Next, select the Bitrix24 connection you created earlier and click Continue:
The automation will run in real time by selecting this option:
Then, configure whether automation should trigger when a contact is created or updated:
If the contact is created/updated more than once in Bitrix24, define whether it should be added again in Google Contacts or not.
If the goal is for it to be created only once, select: YES.
Now it's time to set our second action.
Since the contact details can only be obtained from the contact's profile, we will first retrieve this contact by checking the deals associated with it using its ID.
Select the following action: Find contact by ID.
Next, fill in only the first field with the ID you will receive in step 1, like this:
Finally, add an action to Create a Contact in Google Contacts, mapping the relevant fields.
Click on the + icon, select Action, and then search for that action in Google Contacts.
Except for the first field, the others are optional. It is up to you to decide which data you consider important and want to save in Google Contacts.
